RECRUITING FOR EXPERIENCED GROUNDWORKERS AND SMSTS OR SSSTS SITE SUPERVISORS.

SMSTS or SSSTS site supervisors

S&K Groundwork Solutions Ltd is based in Maldon, Essex.  We take on project sizes ranging from 15K up to 2.5 Million with our sites located in Essex. We work with a number of well-known clients such as Hutton Construction and Balfour Beatty. We’re currently seeking reliable and experienced groundworkerswith their own tools to work on current projects with the scope to stay with us for future works. The right applicants will have knowledge on all forms of groundworks with the ability to manage their time and plan ahead.

We ideally want groundworkers who we can trust on site to get the job done. If you’re the kind of person who prefers to work with out the need for a ‘big brother’ style of management, that’s the kind of people S&K are looking for. Stuart Yuill the Company Owner and Mark Parnham the Construction Director are readily available for support and advice throughout the day on the sites and by phone. The head office is also happy to help with the day-to-day running of the sites offering support and help where we can.

Overall as a company we want people to enjoy working for us. Groundworks can be a challenging industry with unforeseen issues and tight deadlines. It’s important you demonstrate you can work well within a team and on occasions alone under your own supervision. We really want individuals with a ‘can do’ outlook; demonstrating a positive attitude is much better than a negative one.

Pay is based on experience and qualifications held. Stuart Yuill also owns a plant hire company and we often run our own plant on our groundworks site, those with tickets on 360/180 Machines, Dumper and other relevant qualifications; this would all be taken into consideration. Dependent on the individual there is also scope for company vehicle plus other benefits. We would prefer applicants to have a full driving licence and their own vehicle.
